The Bedrin Organization was originally founded in 1947 by Murray Bedrin, as Allied Office Products, a small office supply company based in Jersey City. In 1969 and 1972, Murray Bedrin was joined by his two sons, Paul and Gerald, respectively, and over the next 28 years the business grew significantly into the largest privately-owned office supply business in the country with more than $60 million in annual revenue and over 230 employees.

Headed by brothers Paul and Jerry Bedrin, the company then embarked on an expansion program by purchasing real estate that supported and complemented their office products business. After more than three decades of successful business experience, in 1998 the office products business was sold, so the Bedrin Organization could focus fully on their rapidly expanding acquisition of shopping centers.

In 2005, Jerry's son Garret joined the Bedrin Organization overseeing acquisitions and leasing. In 2008, Paul's son Michael joined the business to manage the construction and development pipeline.

Today, the Bedrin Organization owns and manages nearly 1.5-million square feet of centers valued at close to $200-million dollars. The goal over the next decade is to acquire another 10-million square feet and $1-billion dollars in assets. The Bedrin Organization focuses on value-add opportunities in the Northeast and Southeast where hands on management, leasing, and capital improvements can add quality to the tenant mix.  A great location and a strong tenant mix will drive tenant sales, raise rents, and ultimately add long term value to the asset.
